IAPNRC Election Nomination - Introduction

1. Only eligible Life/ Ordinary members of the Society shall be eligible to offer themselves as candidates for election or to propose or second the candidature of any member or to participate as a voter in the elections. Members must ensure that their subscriptions are paid up before they offer themselves as candidates, proposer, seconder or voter as the case may be.

2. A member may file as many nominations as they desire, but only for one post, however payment may be made only once and the photo copy of the payment proof should be attached with all such nominations. The name of the candidate should be mentioned on the nomination as registered with IAPNRC. No other change in the name will be allowed.

3. The zone wise distribution of the states will be as under:

• West Zone: Goa, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Dadra nagar Haveli-Daman
• East: West Bengal, Bihar, Orissa, Jharkhand, Sikkim, Andaman Nicobar islands and NE states.
• North: Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal, J& K, Uttaranchal and Chandigarh.
• South: Tamilnadu, Kerala, Karnataka, Lakshadweep
• Central: Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Uttar Pradesh

4. The term of the Chairperson, Chairperson Elect, the Immediate Past Chairperson and executive board member shall be for one year, (not eligible for re-election subsequently for the same post), that of the Honorary Secretary and the Treasurer will be of 2 years (not eligible for re-election for the same post).

5. The Chairperson shall not seek election in future to the Executive Board or as Office Bearer of the Society after becoming the Chairperson of the society.

6. Member contesting election for the post of CHAIRPERSON ELECT should have served as an office bearer for any of the post for at least one complete term and should have been member of IAP-NRC for at least last five years as on before 1st January of the current year.

7. A member contesting for the post of Secretary and Treasurer should have been an ordinary member of the IAP-NRC for three complete years as on before 1st January to be eligible to contest for the ensuing election and should have served as an Executive Committee Board Member for one complete term before contesting for the post.

8. Member contesting election for the post of Executive Committee Board Member should have been a member of the IAP-NRC for two complete years as on or before 1st January to be eligible to contest for the ensuing election. Such member, if elected/selected for two successive years shall not contest election for a period of next two years for the post of the executive committee board member.

9. All the eligible members on IAPNRC membership list as on 1^st September, 2026 are eligible to cast their votes. Each voter shall be entitled to cast one vote for each post.

10. Nomination fees: President Rs Ten thousand, Hon. Secretary and treasurer Rs Five thousand & EB Member Rs Two thousand. The amount should be paid online only
